Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together the apple cider, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and thyme to create the marinade.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the bowl with the marinade and ensure they are well-coated. Marinate for at least one hour, or longer for better flavor.

Cooking

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Remove the marinated chicken from the bowl, letting any excess marinade drip off, and place it in the hot skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  • Once browned, remove the chicken and pour the remaining marinade into the skillet. Bring to a gentle boil and reduce for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the glaze. Simmer for another 5 minutes, ensuring the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Serving

  • Let the chicken rest for three minutes before serving. This helps retain its juiciness.
