  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

For the Glaze

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Sifted
  • 2 tablespoon Apple Cider
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, kosher salt, and both sugars. Whisk until everything is evenly blended.
  • Stir in the melted butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in the chopped Honeycrisp and Granny Smith apples.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and create a brown sugar swirl using a knife.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together unsalted butter, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon until crumbly. Sprinkle over the cake batter.
  • Bake for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool before glazing.
  • Whisk together powdered sugar, apple cider, and vanilla extract for the glaze. Drizzle over the cooled cake before serving.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with a dusting of extra cinnamon or some chopped pecans for added texture.
