Ingredients

For the Filling

  • 1 pack Boursin cheese creamy herbed cheese
  • 200 grams Jambon halal diced
  • 100 grams Emmental râpé grated cheese
  • 1 unit Œuf egg

For the Pastry

  • 5 sheets Feuilles de brick or phyllo dough

For Seasoning

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine Boursin cheese and the egg until you achieve a smooth consistency. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir in the diced jambon and grated Emmental cheese, ensuring everything is well incorporated.
  • Cut each feuille de brick into three equal strips. Place about a tablespoon of the filling at one end of each strip.
  • Fold the pastry over the filling to form either a triangle or a roll, sealing the edges tightly.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the filled bricks for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Drain the bricks on paper towels before serving warm.
