  • Preheat your oven to 200°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar on medium speed until frothy. Gradually add the granulated sugar, mixing until you reach stiff peaks.
  • Gently fold in the green gel food coloring until the mixture is a vibrant green.
  • Transfer the meringue into a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe three dollops on top of each other, decreasing in size to create mini tree shapes.
  • Place your piped meringues in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until they lift cleanly from the parchment paper.
  • Once baking is complete, leave the meringues inside the oven to cool overnight or crack the door and cool for about an hour.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks for best texture. Avoid refrigerating to prevent chewiness.
