Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease or line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and powdered sugar. Cut in softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press it firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  • In another bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the chopped pecans and toffee bits.
  • Pour the filling mixture over the crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until the filling is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  • Cool for 1 hour at room temperature, then transfer to the fridge to chill. Once chilled, cut into squares for serving.
