  • 1 cup Cooked Sweet Potato Can substitute with other veggies.
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Feel free to mix cheeses.
  • 2 tablespoons Spring Onions Optional topping.

  • Preheat a cast iron skillet over high heat, or in a preheated oven at 450°F (230°C) for that perfect crispy crust.
  • Drizzle olive oil in the hot skillet, swirling it to coat the surface lightly.
  • Pour the sourdough discard into the skillet, spreading it into a thin and even layer.
  • Cook for about 2 minutes until the bottom sets; add another 30 seconds if it’s sticking.
  • Transfer the crust to a parchment-lined baking sheet, preparing for toppings.
  • Spread barbecue sauce generously over the crust, then layer on the shredded chicken, sweet potatoes, and mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling.
  • Serve hot and enjoy every slice!
