Instructions

How to Make Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

  • Warm the milk between 100°F - 110°F and sprinkle in the yeast along with a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • In a large bowl, combine sugar, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and your choice of spices. Add the frothy yeast mixture, then gradually add flour. Knead until smooth and elastic for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm area until it doubles in size, approximately 1-2 hours.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, and sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Roll tightly and slice into pieces.
  • Place the rolls into a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Spread over warm rolls before serving.
  • Enjoy fresh from the oven and store leftovers at room temperature for up to 2 days.

Notes

Drizzle extra maple syrup on top for an added sweet touch. Serve warm for best flavor experience.
